Product Overview: QM 6058 is a hydroxyacrylic resin modified with a specially designed molecular structure, featuring functional silicone-based additives. This resin can be formulated into two-component, self-drying coatings at room temperature when combined with waterborne polyurethane curing agents. Alternatively, it can be used with waterborne polyurethane latent curing agents to produce single-component, low-temperature bake coatings. It can also be paired with partially methylated amino resins to create waterborne bake-type coatings. Thanks to its silicone-modified formulation, the resulting coatings exhibit high hardness, excellent wear resistance, outstanding water and salt-spray resistance, and remarkable chemical resistance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.     This resin can be formulated with a waterborne polyurethane curing agent to produce a two-component, self-drying coating at room temperature; alternatively, it can be combined with a waterborne polyurethane latent curing agent to create a single-component, low-temperature baking paint. It can also be mixed with certain methoxylated amino resins to prepare waterborne bake-on coatings.

    Thanks to the silicone-modified technology used in this product, the resulting coating exhibits high hardness, excellent wear resistance, superior water and salt-spray resistance, and outstanding chemical resistance, making it ideal for high-performance applications.
