　　After a decade of rapid growth, pressure-sensitive adhesives have seen a slowdown in recent years. Existing production capacity is now in surplus, and market competition has intensified. Nevertheless, new application areas continue to be explored. Although annual growth rates remain positive, over the past five years, driven by strong government support for environmentally friendly water-based products and growing public awareness of health concerns, higher demands have clearly been placed on raw material suppliers, adhesive manufacturers, and product makers. As the “National Committee for Green Adhesion Technology and Application”—commonly referred to as the “Committee”—whose core business is promoting eco-friendly adhesives, the Committee will be tasked with leading the pressure-sensitive adhesive industry chain to break through limitations in R&D capabilities, product technology, and sales channels, thereby optimizing the industry’s overall performance.
